Mark Iverson, Western Heights General Manager, was recently elected President of the Yucaipa Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA). As President, Mark will guide the GSA in managing our valuable water resources in the Yucaipa Valley.

The following were also elected to serve on the GSA Board:

David Armstrong, South Mesa General Manager, GSA Vice President

The GSA, the first major step under the Groundwater Sustainability Management Act, requires local agencies to form GSAs to organize plans to bring groundwater aquifers into balanced levels of pumping and recharge.

The other members of the GSA are: the cities of Yucaipa, Calimesa and Redlands, the San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency in Beaumont, and the South Mountain Water Company of Redlands.
